When debating Religion

DO NOT! Have your entire argument based on "faith". Feel free to debate openly on your faith, about your faith, why you have faith, who gave you this faith but do not have your entire argument be "I have faith". If that's all that you can muster as a retort then do not retort. Simple as that.

Example of improper argument:

Guy 1: Why do you believe in God?
Guy 2: I have faith.

Example of proper argument:

Guy 1: Why do you believe in God?
Guy 2: I believe that my faith in god was created when I survived a fishing accident as a child. I think that without the help of god on my side I may have ceased to be.
